Cambridge Institute of Technology was founded in the year 2001 at Tatisilwai, a place 16 km away from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. The institute was started under the guidance of late Dr Bahadur Singh – A Social Reformer and Educationist and was promoted by the Cambridge Trust of India (Registered under Indian Trust Act). Cambridge Institute of Technology is affiliated to Ranchi University, Ranchi and Government of Jharkhand. The institute offers 5 different undergraduate courses under B.Tech (4 years) and 3 postgraduate courses ( 2 years) from different domains of management and technology. The college also offers lateral entry (diploma-degree) options for all B.Tech courses which are for 2 years. The courses offered by the institute are B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA.

Facilities

Laboratory: The institute had a well-equipped research and development laboratory. It also has separate math and English language laboratories. Computer centre: High-tech computer centre with the latest hardware technology is available to students for better learning experiences. Design Center for Innovation and Creativity Library: The college houses a range of international research related and academic journals and books.
