Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using KollegeX. By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and KollegeX.
By accessing, browsing, or using the KollegeX platform at kollegex.com and its subdomains (the "Platform"), you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, have read and understood these Terms of Service ("Terms"), and agree to be bound by them along with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you and that organisation.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Platform. KollegeX reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

The information on KollegeX is sourced from publicly available data, official government records (NIRF, NAAC, UGC, AICTE), and user contributions. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free.
Certain features of the Platform require you to create an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at legal@kollegex.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account. KollegeX is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if we determine you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or posed a security risk to the Platform.
Each person may maintain only one active KollegeX account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions (such as review limits or bans) is prohibited and may result in permanent suspension of all accounts.
You may use the Platform solely for personal, non-commercial purposes related to your college discovery and admission journey. Permitted uses include:

When you submit reviews, ratings, questions, answers, or any other content ("User Content") on the Platform, you retain ownership of that content. However, by submitting User Content, you grant KollegeX a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content on the Platform and in connection with our services.
You agree that all User Content you submit will:
KollegeX reserves the right to review, edit, or remove any User Content that violates these Terms or our content policies, without prior notice. We use a combination of AI moderation and human review. Removed content is not recoverable.
Only users who have verified their student status (via institutional email OTP) may post "Verified" reviews. Attempting to obtain verification fraudulently is a violation of these Terms and may result in account termination and reporting to the relevant institution.
The KollegeX name, logo, design, software, database schemas, AI models, editorial content, and all other materials on the Platform (excluding User Content) are the exclusive intellectual property of KollegeX and are protected by the Copyright Act, 1957 (India) and applicable international intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. This licence does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content.
Third-party logos, trademarks, and college information displayed on the Platform belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and informational purposes only. Their appearance does not constitute endorsement or affiliation.
Important: KollegeX is an information platform, not an official admission authority. We are not affiliated with any college, university, or regulatory body.
While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of college information, fees, placement data, and cutoffs, this information is sourced from public records and user contributions and may be outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate. You should always verify critical information directly with the respective college or official regulatory body (NIRF, NAAC, UGC, AICTE) before making any academic or financial decisions.
Our college predictor, cutoff estimates, and AI recommendations are indicative tools only and do not guarantee admission to any institution. Actual admission decisions are made exclusively by the colleges and counseling authorities.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the extent permitted by applicable Indian law.
Counseling provided through the Platform (whether by AI or human counselors) is for general guidance only and does not constitute professional academic, legal, or financial advice. We recommend consulting qualified professionals for critical decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, KollegeX and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, including but not limited to:
In any event, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000 (Indian Rupees One Thousand), whichever is greater.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, including college official websites, government portals, and exam authority sites. These links are provided for your convenience only. KollegeX does not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site. You access third-party sites at your own risk.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with these Terms, or the breach, termination, or validity thereof, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. You hereby consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute by contacting us at legal@kollegex.com and allowing 30 days for resolution through mutual agreement.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KollegeX, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, costs, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email and by posting a notice on the Platform. The updated Terms will be effective from the date specified in the notice. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform before the effective date.
