TSEAMCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Domicile

Must be a Telangana local candidate (TS study certificate required from institution in Telangana for 4 consecutive years, or parent employed in Telangana govt / PSU).

Age

Minimum 16 years as of 31 December of the year of admission. No upper age limit for Engineering.

Qualification (Engineering)

10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Minimum Marks

60% aggregate in PCM for General category | 55% for OBC (BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D, BC-E) | 50% for SC/ST candidates.

Qualification (Agriculture/Medical)

10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology as core subjects.

Register on the official TSCHE counselling portal (tsche.ac.in). Pay processing fee online. Verification slip is mandatory for web options.

Web Options Entry

Fill preferences online — candidates can select up to 200 college-branch combinations. Arrange in order of preference. Double-check before final submission.

Provisional Allotment

Seat allotted based on rank, preference order, category, and seat availability. Check allotment on the portal and respond — Accept & Freeze, or continue for subsequent phases.

Spot Admissions

After regular rounds, TSCHE conducts spot admission rounds for remaining vacant seats. Candidates can attend in-person at designated Help Line Centres.
