Established in the year 1988, Maharani Kishori Jat Kanya Mahavidyalaya is run under the management of Jat educational society. The name of the prestigious college was given after the name of legendary Maharani Kishori, queen of Maharaj Surajmal, the Jat Emperor of Delhi. The beginner of the Maharani Kishori Jat Kanya Mahavidyalaya wished to implant the virtue of audacity and confidence in all rural females. Since 1988 Maharani Kishori Jat Kanya Mahavidyalaya has been bringing out the missionary task of ejecting the sparkle of knowledge to the impoverished section of the society primarily to the rural girls of Haryana with an obligation to convert this deprived section of the society into strength of the nation by sanctioning them to unearth their inherent capabilities and deep-seated qualities and instilling in them a passion for long learning. The mission of the college is to enlighten the deprived section of society with the lights of knowledge and wisdom. To transform young talents into skilled capacitated women with enthusiasm, self-confidence and competence who will display the highest standard of virtual behaviours in every walk of life. 2.

Two units of NSS are there in the college. A 10 days NSS camp is organised annually. The motto of the camp is to raise awareness and to stimulate the people about social evils such as the dowry system, female feticide, AIDS, declining sex ratio, and general issues. 3.
