Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya and Hospital was founded in 1954. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore and is approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicines (CCIM). The institute offers UG, PG, and Doctoral courses in the field of Ayurveda. Admission to its courses is based on the candidate's performance in the NEET examination. To be eligible for admissions, candidates must have completed their 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.
