Ayurved Mahavidyalaya & Seth R. V. Ayurved Hospital, popularly known as Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, is one of the finest Ayurveda colleges established in 1954 in Sion, Maharashtra. The college is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) and is approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicines. Ayurved Mahavidyalaya was established under Ayurveda Prasarak Mandal. Ayurved Mahavidyalaya offers BAMS and MD in Ayurveda at UG and PG levels respectively. For admission to BAMS, the students must clear NEET UG with a valid score. Admission to MD at Ayurved Mahavidyalaya is based on AIAPGET . Ayurved Mahavidyalaya offers admission based on the receptive entrance exam score, followed by state-level counseling. The college also offers admission to Ph.D. courses at the doctorate level. Admission to the Ph.D. course is based on admission guidelines provided by MUHS. Ayurved Mahavidyalaya premises have modern infrastructure and facilities, which include a hostel, laboratory, cafeteria, auditorium, and library.
